'Uttranchal'– in the lap of the Himalays is one of the most beautiful states of India. Situated in the Gharewal region, the state boast of having two of India’s main rivers- Ganges and Yamuna originated from the mountain tops here.

The film follows the journey of River Yamuna as a narrow stream from the snow capped Himalays to the mile long wide water mass in the Gangatic plains. It documents the immense riches of the region –flora, fauna, simple minded people and their rituals.
