After studying film from National Institute of Design (NID), India, Sudipto (Sid) worked in the advertising and TV production sector in Mumbai for 5 years.
He then moved to France to direct music video for Accrorap – a hip hop company and other music groups before settling in London for the last 6 years. Sudipto began his career as a graphic designer and then progressed to directing TV adverts for regional and mainstream TV.
His creative background covers book design (Commissioned by Embassy of France, Alliance Francaise..), photography (Sanchetna, HelpAge…), branding (Rational FX...), art direction, websites, e- commerce sites ( Gemini, TwoRhinos..), TV (TARA TV India…), Commercials ( Lycamobile, White Tower Tomatoes, Hiten Prepaid MasterCard, Daawat…), music videos (Accrorap, MTDS..) thus eliminating boundaries between disciplines.
In his 7 years directing commercials/ music videos he has conformed a personal vision based on aesthetic and photographic approach. With close approach to treatment of images, wide use of typography, his work is bold, cutting edge with emotive content and stylish.
He has won wide acclaim for his work shot in India, France and UK. Some of his recent clients have been White Tower Tomatoes, Hiten Prepaid MasterCard, Star Tour, EGI Kitchens, Mayfair Interiors, Accrorap, Daawat Basmati Rice.
